To this end, a pilot system was installed at the former Auguste Victoria colliery in order to monitor the minewater ascent processes across the medium to long term.\nTHGA\u2019s experts have developed a measuring concept that enables them to determine the pressure, methane concentrations, flow rates and conductivity in abandoned mine workings over the longest feasible time period, and to determine the explosion protection requirements. For this purpose, we are using sensor technology more commonly found in deep sea applications, making it especially robust and durable.
