As a result, the mine water level rises. This happens gradually via natural inflows such as groundwater or seepage water. To this end, in a <a href=\"https:\/\/fzn.thga.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2021\/06\/Dissertation-Westermann-Veroeffentlichung-Berichte-zum-Nachbergbau-2021_02_11_verschluesselt.pdf\"><strong>preceding project<\/strong><\/a> they developed a corresponding analytical model, which they have already successfully applied to simulate mine water rebound in three selected mines. The analytical model is characterized by the fact that mine water rebound can be simulated in a comparatively simple and fast manner and with sufficient accuracy.
