Zu diesem Schluss kommen Dr. Bodo Bernsdorf vom Forschungszentrum Nachbergbau der THGA und seine Fachkolleg*innen Arne de Wall, Albert Remke, Thore Fechner, Alexandra Bicsan und Adrian Klink. Das steigende Schadensrisiko im Zusammenhang mit D\u00fcrren und \u00dcberflutungen zwingt Versicherungsunternehmen dazu, ihre Produkte neu zu kalkulieren und neue Wege in der Schadensabwicklung zu gehen. Das Erdbeobachtungssystem Copernicus stellt ein hervorragendes Datenangebot zur Verf\u00fcgung, das f\u00fcr die automatisierte gro\u00dffl\u00e4chige Bereitstellung aktueller Lagebilder von \u00dcberflutungen verwendet werden kann. Die zu verarbeitende Datenmenge erfordert allerdings den Einsatz von Cloud-Infrastrukturen und optimierten Analyse- und Prozessierungsverfahren, um die Erstellung gew\u00fcnschter Informationsprodukte mit optimalem Ressourcen- und Zeitaufwand leisten zu k\u00f6nnen. Gegenstand des Forschungsprojektes \u201eSenSituMon\u201c ist die Entwicklung neuer und verbesserter technischer Verfahren zur Erzeugung von Nahe-Echtzeit-Informationsprodukten f\u00fcr das gro\u00dffl\u00e4chige Monitoring von \u00dcberflutungen. Hierbei spielt der Einsatz von In-situ-Sensordaten eine wesentliche Rolle. Niederschlags- und Wasserstandsdaten dienen dazu, das meteorologische- und hydrologische Geschehen zu beobachten und die rechenintensive Analyse der Bilddaten auf relevante Gebiete und Zeiten zu beschr\u00e4nken.
