A good reason to celebrate: Benjamin Haske and Marcin Pawlik from the FZN successfully defended their dissertations at the Faculty of Geosciences, Geotechnics and Mining at TU Bergakademie Freiberg..
On this important day and step towards obtaining his doctorate, Benjamin Haske defended his doctoral thesis entitled “Drone and satellite remote sensing as a contribution to integrated safety and environmental monitoring of underground storage facilities” on April 8, 2025. Marcin Pawlik defended his doctoral thesis entitled “The use of multispectral satellite images in geomonitoring of post-mining processes” on April 9, 2025. With the subsequent publication of the two dissertations, the last formal step towards the doctorate has also been completed.
